We have achieved SEIS ‘advance assurance’ meaning investors can qualify for a 50% income tax rebate on their investments and capital gains are free of CGT. There is also the possibility of deferring existing CGT liabilities making this a much less risky way of investing in startups. Issued shares will benefit from exactly the same rights as the Company founders.
